From Kyoichi Tsuzuki's commentary: "...I was drawn to Hanawa Masayoshi's psychedelic, sometimes magical, worldview, in which mysterious creatures repeatedly multiply, and while following his work, I also became very intrigued by the unique creative style he told me about, and so I had the opportunity to interview him - after all, every day after work at a factory, he parks his car in a corner of the parking lot of the nearby K's Denki and creates his works in his car."

Bio: "Hanawa Masayoshi was born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1981. His work was featured on the cover of 'HEY!', the pinnacle of lowbrow artbooks from Paris, and he was the only Japanese to participate in 'HEY! #4' held at the Musée de l'Halle Saint-Pierre in Paris. He exhibited at the Atsuko Barou booth at the Outsider Art Fair held in Paris, and his work is now in the collection of the Outsider Art Museum in the Amsterdam annex of the Hermitage Museum. He has also published an art book through the publishing art collective Le Dernier Cri in Marseille, France."
